For those who are not reality television junkies, Holly Madison spent five seasons on the #1 rated E! hit reality show The Girls Next Door before landing the leading role in the Las Vegas strip’s smash hit , Peepshow. She also starred in two seasons of her own hit E! series Holly’s World.

‘Down The Rabbit Hole’ is a fast paced fun romp with a good girlfriend. The whole book reads like Holly  is sitting across from you while you toast the pass with a great bottle of Moscato. I am an avid reader. I can down most any book if it is good in about 4 days.

Holly’s book was delicious. Absolutely delectable to be honest with you.  She does not spare you any of the details.  All your questions are answered. The taboo and salacious query of whether the women he has in his house sleep with him is answered. As matter of fact that answer comes pretty early on in the book.

You feel her uncomfortable vibe watching some of the crazy scenes play out.

Do  you as the reader believe her? Yes, hands down you believe her. There is a tone  of sincerity that rings true whether she is talking about their club nights or their scheduled movie nights. There are a few stories that are so hysterical you will laugh out loud. When Holly describes the multi levels  of Playmate life, laugh and thank your lucky stars you never had to live through that.

If they ever make her story into a film the song that should be a theme song  is  the duet by Rihanna and Eminem called ‘The Monster.’ Listen to the lyrics and they paint the tarnish on the gold well that was Holly’s time at the mansion.

Holly writes on meeting  Hugh Hefner at a party:

‘I’m Holly,” I repeated , a little louder.

“Oh, hi.Nice to meet you darling,” Hef said before turning his attention to the next person. There were no fireworks, no “Rhapsody In Blue,” and there certainly wasn’t any audition.

Right after that exchange she takes you off on a ride with her.

Should you give it a read? Yes, go to the book store, download it to your tablet, do whatever you must, but read it. It is a cautionary tale of what happens when legends drink their own brew.

When you get to the end of the book you will understand a few things about the Playboy mystique and why Playmates end up in crazy situations.
