Accomplished singer/songwriter and entertainment mogul, Tina Campbell is continuing her storm of the world. Her album ‘It’s Personal‘ has changed lives beyond anything anyone could have imagined.

Tina’s  new music video teaches deep theological issues that very few people talk about anymore.

Lesson #1- This is what a woman looks like.

Proverbs 31:10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.

I know it may sound simple, but it is is truth. In the world where we have young women twerking nearly nude to maintain attention this was sorely needed. It was refreshing to see the beautiful classic looks in the video. Tina owns the beauty of a woman. The Bible has much to say about the beauty of women. Beautiful women may be defined as such because of physical features, but in the Bible we see more about beauty as defined by character. In Proverbs 31 we even see an entire chapter devoted to what King Lemuel’s mother taught him about the ideal woman. She taught him to look for something beautiful in the woman that he would have for his wife because God made all women to be something beautiful.  Tina’s strength comes through the camera.
Lesson #2 You must look forward and ‘leave the past behind’.

Isaiah 65:16 “Because he who is blessed in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!

When something is done. It is done., you can overcome any negative situation or pain from your past if you will just get with God and say, “Yes, this happened in my life. But You are on my side and I know You have a good plan for me.”Talk throughout the day, and take note of where their conversations are grounded—in the future, in the present, or in the past. Where would you guess most conversations draw from? The answer is the past. In faith we know that we are changed when we allow ourselves to move forward in faith. All dwelling does is cause you to suffer.Brain scientists suggest nearly 20 percent of us suffer from “complicated grief,” a persistent sense of longing for someone we lost with romanticized memories of the relationship. Scientists also suggest this is a biological occurrence—that the longing can have an addictive quality to it, actually rooted in our brain chemistry. Let’s take the movement to delve into Jesus’s promise for tomorrow.

Lesson #3 You Speak Life and Death Into Your Life.

Proverbs 18:21: The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Being aware of the powerful effect our words can have on other people’s lives, we naturally try to use our gift of speech in a responsible and compassionate way when interacting with those around us. Jesus spoke to his Apostles and always made them aware of the words they chose. Self-talk will contribute to feelings of inner strength and self-respect, which will have a very beneficial effect on the way you view yourself. It is also the determining factor on how you allow others to treat you. Many of the issues in our day to day lives comes from the devaluing if ourselves and others. Our creator made us for great things. Those things we speak into life are actions.

Lesson #4 God wants you to know, and believe, and feel, and see that He loves you.

James 1:17-18:  “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.”

He has given you many scriptures that abound with illustrations of His love, giving us assurance and promise.God’s perfect love begins with faith. Upon receiving His gift of love, we can have unexplainable peace, joy, and confidence in the worst of situations. It’s often as if we can supernaturally feel His loving arms around us when we need comfort, protection, or feel anxiety.
