The world seems to have figured out the formula for manufacturing material success, but when it comes to finding true, lasting happiness, we are as lost as ever. We yearn for more, or less, or something that’s just different from what we have right now.Deep down, we know there must be satisfaction for our longing. We just don’t know where to find it.

In Sandcastle Kings, Rich Wilkerson, Jr. (star of the new Oxygen series Rich in Faith) uses four powerful stories from the seventh chapter of Luke to explain why spiritual fulfillment cannot be found in ourselves, in other people, in material things, or even in religion. By studying the stories of the centurion’s faith, the resurrection of the widow’s son, Jesus’ message about John the Baptist, and the anointing by the woman with the alabaster jar, you will be able to face your doubts and insecurities and overcome your anxiety, discontentment, and depression. Wilkerson wants you to understand that the only answer for your spiritual bankruptcy is Jesus and that until you turn to him you will never experience the lasting peace and joy you so desperately crave.

I loved his tone. I have had the blessing of meeting him and I can tell you that the book is on the money.

Sara Frankl knew she had a terminal disease, but she didn’t let it stop her from living. In the face of immeasurable pain, Sara chose joy–again and again. Her unforgettable message of hope and purpose lives on, even after her death, in her words.
The book is a compilation of the lessons Sara learned while she was dying, written in her own words and sewn together by her close friend Mary Carver. It is a reminder to see the beauty in life, even when it looks nothing like you hoped or planned.
In a world full of tragedy, choosing joy is no small task–but, as Sara knew, the importance lies in the choosing.
Once you learn to make that choice, every day, no matter what happens, joy will come.

This book is a wake-up call for the bride of Christ. Early in the morning, the spirit of God spoke unto me: “Daughter, it’s time to awaken my bride, for I’m soon coming to take my bride home”-meaning, my true bride to warn or to awaken the body of Christ, who is sleeping. He said time is running out. That’s why it’s so important to be watchful and alert and to know the bridegroom. This book will teach you to know him as your bridegroom. It will teach you to know his voice. It will teach you how to have a personal relationship with him.

Have you ever asked the question, does God exist? Have you ever wondered about the source of life on earth, and in particular, human life? Three approaches to answering these questions are: creationism, intelligent design, and evolution. Evolutionists claim that all life on earth has evolved from simple life forms over billions of years. They are adamant that their claim has been proven to be a scientific fact. It turns out that their so-called ‘proof’ uses an invalid logical argument. Hence, at this point in time, evolution is merely a conjecture and not a scientific fact.Instead of attempting to answer these questions, a different approach is to restate the questions as propositions. A proposition is a statement that is either true or false.

The #5 pick is a great conversation starter for parents and is my only child friendly pick for this Spring.

PSGFCgAAQBAJ#5 Positive Thoughts, Positive Life!  T.E. Corner

This is a sweet small children’s book. It follows the day of a beautiful smart little girl named Kylie.

Kylie enters each day with a positive outlook and ends it the same. This is definitely a book to help institute great habits with your child.
