Lenten Meditation Song Of The Day: Sidewalk Prophets ‘Save My Life’

As we enter the second week of Lent we turn our eyes to how we must become servants in the world.

The Sidewalk Prophets ‘Save My Life’

Show me there’s a God / Who can be more than all I’ve ever wanted/ ‘Cause right now I need a little hope /I need to know that I’m not alone
Maybe God is calling you tonight/ To tell me something / That might save my life

Scripture says:

Philippians 2:4: do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

At the core of Christianity is caring for one another. By having a heart that cares, it shows that we are seeking to be like Jesus. No matter where Jesus went, he showed love and compassion for all the people that he met. By finding positive ways to care for others we add value to our own lives, feel more engaged with others and generate a more constructive, healthy, sharing way of living with others.  We improve the quality of life for everyone.
