What is the International Day of Happiness? It’s a day to be happy, of course! Since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the International Day of Happiness as a way to recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world. In 2015, the UN launched the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that seek to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect our planet – three key aspects that lead to well-being and happiness.
1- Help Others. When you help others, you instantly feel better. Seeing the gratefulness in someone else is empowering to your spirit.
2- Slow Down and Look Around and create a space of your own. Identify a time and space where you won’t be interrupted. While it would be nice if we could all have a room to call our own, that isn’t always possible. You can find a corner of your lunchroom and out your headphones off. The time alone is very important. As I always say you must have time to just listen and calm yourself
3-Enjoy The Moment. Life unfolds in the present. But so often, we let the present slip away, allowing time to rush past unobserved and unseized, and squandering the precious seconds of our lives as we worry about the future-
