Award season has finally arrived and stylists are in overdrive. The first Award Show out the gate is The Golden Globes. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual Golden Globe Awards have enabled the non-profit organization to donate more than $29 million in the past thirty years to entertainment-related charities, as well as funding scholarships and other programs for future film and television professionals. In the year 2017, the donations reached a total of over $2.8 million in grants destined to non-profits, institutions, and charities.
So.. the stars come out in full force for the honors. Fashion is a small part of the show. The dresses and suits you see during the show are a tone setter for fashion for the rest of the year.
My first pick for the evening would be Kristen Durst.
Priyanka Jonas looked stunning in pink. She was accompanied by her husband and joked on stage that the award show did not count as their date night. The dress was age appropriate and refreshing to see.
This blue dress adds a sense of charm and class. Ana DeArmas just shines like her dress. Blue is the color of 2020, so she was on trend.
Thomasin McKenzie had a classic look that was a salute to old Hollywood.
