The 2026 Stellar Gospel Music Awards major winners were announced earlier this month.
They are:
- Artist of the Year: Darrel Walls — Heart of Mine
- Song of the Year: Alescia Knowles-Smith — “Promises (Live)”
- Album of the Year: Vincent Bohanan & SOV — Live in New York
- Male Artist of the Year: Jonathan McReynolds — Still (Live) featuring Jamal Roberts
- Female Artist of the Year: Lisa Knowles Smith — Revival: Live in Dallas
- New Artist of the Year: Ablaze
- Choir of the Year: Tie between JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise and Vincent Bohanan & SOV
- Traditional Artist of the Year: Jekalyn Carr
- Contemporary Female Artist: Erica Campbell
- Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel Album: Lecrae — Reconstruction
- Praise and Worship Album: Todd Dulaney — Promises
Lisa Knowles Smith was the night’s biggest winner, earning five awards. The ceremony was held August 15, 2026, in Charlotte.
The 2026 Stellar Gospel Music Awards will air:
- Saturday, August 29 at 8 p.m. ET on The Stellar Network
Encore at 10 p.m. ET - Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. ET on BET
Additional showing at 10:30 p.m. ET - Saturday, September 5 at 1 p.m. ET on Bounce TV
