Covered: Alive in Asia is a live album by Israel & New Breed. RCA Inspiration released the album on July 24, 2015. Israel & New Breed worked with Chris Baker, Kevin Camp, and Aaron Lindsey, in the production of this album. The album was recorded all over Asia during early October 2014 in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea during a tour.
Best Gospel Song Contemporary 2016 winner was Kirk Franklin ‘Wanna Be Happy’.
Kirk Franklin has released his first song in four years, “Wanna Be Happy,” he admits that he felt fearful in doing so.
Franklin, 45, took to his Twitter account to thank fans for supporting the song, which he premiered on Season 8 of BET’s “Sunday Best” music talent show that he executive produces and hosts. His message on Twitter read: “I can’t thank you enough for the love you’ve shown my new song,” he tweeted. “Every artist is afraid, I’m just not afraid to admit it! WANNA BE HAPPY?”

The Fairfield Four is an American gospel group that has existed for over 90 years. They started as a trio in Nashville, Tennessee’s Fairfield Baptist Church in 1921. They were designated as National Heritage Fellows in 1989 by theNational Endowment for the Arts. The group won the 1998 Grammy for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album. As a quintet, they featured briefly in the motion picture O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
