Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens will be the co-hosts of this year’s Billboard Music Awards. The Billboard Music Awards show will air  next Sunday, May 21 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Like the Billboard charts themselves, the Billboard Music Awards have a history of celebrating a diverse cross-section of the music landscape. From the girl-powered punch of Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)” to the pitch-black rock of Metallica’s “Unforgiven II” to the seductive snap, crackle and pop of Britney Spears and Rihanna’s.  The ceremony has always collected music’s biggest stars in one place and let their hits shine in front of millions.

The Christian and Gospel nominees are a perfect mix of what we have been listening to.

Here are the nominees:

Lauren Daigle was The Billboard Top Christian Artist.

Tamela Mann to home the award for Billboard Awards   Top Gospel Artist.
