48th Annual Dove Award Winners

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced the last week the last round of presenters for the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Beth Moore, Dr. Bobby Jones, Brandon Heath, Chonda Pierce, Jaci Velasquez, John Gray, Karen Peck Gooch, Kim Fields, Lauren Daigle, Mandisa, Miel San Marcos, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Montell Jordan, Trace Adkins, Travis Cottrell and Tye Tribbett were added to the all-star lineup.  

Those new additions rounded out the talent lineup that includes performers Bri (Briana Babineaux), Casting Crowns, CeCe Winans, Danny Gokey, Erica Campbell, Gaither Vocal Band, Hezekiah Walker, Hillsong Worship, Hollyn, Jekalyn Carr, Joseph Habedank, Matt Redman, MercyMe, Micah Tyler, Reba McEntire, Ryan Stevenson, Steven Malcolm, Tauren Wells, Travis Greene and Zach Williams and presenters Anthony Brown, Chris Tomlin, David and Tamela Mann, for KING & Country and Matt Maher.

Operation Christmas Child was added to the show as a partner.

Amy Grant  scores big with  Christmas / Special Event Album of the Year for the album “Tennessee Christmas”

Gaither Vocal Band for winning Southern Gospel Artist of the Year

Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year is “Oh Lord”!

Rap/Hip Hop Song of the Year  was awarded to“Oh Lord- Trip Lee”!

Spanish Album of the Year for the album “Confío- Jaci Velasquez

Recorded Music Packaging of the Year went to the album “The Garden”

Southern Gospel Album of the Year was “Resurrection”
