NAACP awards this year truly celebrate a new generation of artists and many different genres than they have in past years.

Greenleaf a series celebrating and delving into the world of megachurches was nominated in a serious category for Outstanding Drama Series. I have loved the series since the very beginning.

Sunday Best was nominated  in  The Best Reality category.

The Gospel categories present stiff competition.

Erica Campbell also received a nomination in the non-fiction category for her new book  More Than Pretty.  The nods are for Debut and  Best Instructional.
