Today the Lenten Meditation Song of the day is Hillary Scott’s ‘Thy Will’
The Lyrics talk of our lifetime journey with the Lord.
I’m so confused / I know I heard you loud and clear
So, I followed through/Somehow I ended up here / I don’t wanna think
I may never understand/That my broken heart is a part of your plan
When I try to pray /All I’ve got is hurt and these four wordsThy will be done / Thy will be done / Thy will be done
Finding God in a busy world. Seeing His hand in our daily lives. How do we do it? Perhaps it can be as simple as depending on the Lord for small daily help, the whispered prayer. “Lord, help me find my car keys.”Essentially, the use of ‘faith’ in everyday life, within every aspect of our lives, can provide us with the opportunity to experience God’s presence there, as he attempts to provide loving care to each of us. Undeniable to those who know him, he is a God of action. Of course we do need to know something about faith first and how it can be applied to life.
The two common areas where God’s presence can become most obvious to us within our daily lives is through recognizing his guiding, helping hand and through the beneficial use of prayer. These areas, then, are where we firstly look to find evidence of God’s presence in our lives.
