Verzuz gave us the Mary Mary battles CeCe and Bebe Winans battle of the Resurrection last night and I can say without a doubt it was all praiseworthy.
First, the Marys, Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell slayed in their styling. You can never have a better dressed duo than these two were last night.
They bring fashion and faith to the next levels!
The pink punch on Erica and hat and the blazer on Tina just slayed me for days. Erica hair style was as beautiful as can be and gave me all kinds of hair envy.
In any event, lets move on to the actual performances. Both sides delivered songs worthy of praise. It was a nice way to end Easter evening by singing and praising God. At some point during the battle it just became praise and worship. Full stop. Period!
Who won? The audience because we don’t get to see performances like this anymore.
There are no outlets that give us this type of show. Maybe next year they can get a full-orchestra and actually put a show together. The only down part of the show was that at some point during the show YouTube placed a violation on the show and you were left to scramble to get another viewing platform. Not sure how you can violate people for singing their own songs but hey, the devil is a liar!
Cece Winans has one of the strongest voices I have ever heard matched only by Erica and Tina.

The Winans shined as only they can with their crisp vocal and prayerful delivery. They showed exactly why they are the best at what they do.
This is one show that they should have recorded and play again as a special because it was worth every single moment.
