‘The Baxters is a must see. Karen Kingsbury and Roma Downey deliver! This is the must see of the season. If you’ve been trying to find the best TV, but you’ve been struggling to sort through all the options available, then look no further. I have been praying and begging for this.

This show is it. It’s true to the book with a solid prayerful, thoughtful laid out story without being unnecessarily sappy. The Baxters tells the story of a family that is struggling to live in a fallen world while they are trying to their best.

Episode 1 “Under The Surface“ jumps right in to the daily struggle of men and temptation and mental illness compounded by jealousy. In the world where young men over step their bounds, with young women in public you will instantly relate. This arc is tastefully done but knocks it out the park with what our young women are dealing with.

Episode 2 “Home Coming” deals with what happens when a woman who is faithful, is faced with infidelity and she still wants to hold on to faith. The range of emotions feelings and struggle is tangible in each scene with the young woman, Ali Corbrin, who plays Kari delivers a gut wrenching scene. It is exactly how I imagined.

Episode 3 “Irreconcilable Differences” knocks you on your bottom. Marriage is hard when only one person wants it. Can redemption be found? Trust me.. you are going to want to keep watching!
